DEFINITION OF A TOURIST (International standards)
A tourist is any person on a trip outside of his/her usual surroundings for a period of at least one night and for reasons that are not related to paid activity in the visited location. The arrival of international tourist in a given country refers to any visit of a person who is not resident in the country and who will make at least one overnight stay. For example, a US tourist visiting EU will be counted each time he/she enters on of the countries in EU. A UK tourist visiting Florida, New York and California will only be counted once on his /her entry into the US.
